Training Services
Sevenoaks Farm is a purpose built equestrian facility, ideally located near Brisbane and Ipswich, in the beautiful Brisbane Valley. We have 20 acres set up for the breeding and training of dressage horses, and offer limited spaces to clients wishing to have their horse trained, prepared for sale, or competed.
Dressage Training
Horses that come to Kaitlin for dressage training, are worked at least 5 days per week, and all are trained within the German training scale. Kaitlin specialises in producing young horses through to successful competition horses, but also takes more advanced horses. Kaitlin aims to get all the young horses working forward, straight and into a soft contact, without creating tension or resistance.
Your horse can be stabled or yarded at night for maximum security, and turned out in spacious, individual paddocks during the day. Horses here in training are hard fed twice daily, offered plenty of hay up to three times a day, and rugged according to the weather conditions. Additional services such as worming, physio or chiropractor, farrier or veterinary attention can easily be arranged at an additional cost to the owner.
Short term training (stays for less than 12 weeks) $425 per week. Long term training OR sales horses $400 per week. Due to the success with sales horses, the spaces do go quickly, so it's best to secure your horses spot in advance! I am currently taking bookings for the end of May 2021 onwards. Kaitlin offers a service to professionally pre train, advertise and present horses for sale. This includes ensuring the horse is working correctly, organising professional sales pictures and videos, creating advertisements, and dealing with clients, to make selling your horse a hassle free experience.
Kaitlin regularly has horses for sale and clients frequently visiting, both locally and from interstate. Given our location which is close to Brisbane and less than 1 hour from the airport, we are ideally situated for interstate buyers to visit our horses for sale. Kaitlin also has a large list of contacts regularly looking for dressage horses, and she can assist in finding the perfect home for your horse. Our most recent sale was to an existing client before we had even advertised, and prior to that the last horse sold within 24 hours of being on the market!! Competition Preparation and Campaigning

Do you have a young horse, that you would like to get our for his first time? Kaitlin takes horses for competition preparation, inc full work, training for the test and taking your horse on outings to prepare him for his first competition. She also takes horses out to competitions, and has plenty of experience preparing and competing young horses. Kaitlin can even take your horse on for a longer period to gain qualifying scores for you, and is happy to compete horses both locally and at state and national level.

Kaitlin has a large network of contacts within the dressage and breeding industry, and has helped many clients purchase their next horse, from foals right through to schoolmasters. Kaitlin often knows of several horses, both locally and nationwide to suit a large variety of riders, and is happy to enquire on your behalf, and accompany you to view the horses.
